Taking new container sales to a different level, Modcan Solutions prides itself on delivering containers that emphasize the Client’s brand while looking great! We believe that if you’re going to have a shipping container on your lot, it deserves an attractive look to add to your professional image or a clean finish to not upset your neighbours. We have been fortunate enough to work with some of Western Canada’s rising stars in oil & gas, construction, logistics and aviation to name a few while also working with fantastic residential Clients looking for a storage solution.

Our Clients have turned to us for a variety of custom solutions in not only the 20 and 40 foot container size, but a myriad of sizes including 53′ foot packages. Using our facilities in Yellowknife and Edmonton, we distribute a container solution according to Client requirements. We do carry Modcan inventory for immediate release when required, but those too hold the curb appeal that Modcan’s have become synonymous with.

Western Canada Container Sales

Modcan has been very pleased with the increase in demand over the past three months in Western Canada. With containers heading to the Yukon, Nunavut as well as new destinations in Alberta and the NWT, we continue to develop and expand into new markets.

The summer continues to be busy with some extensive tenders being submitted as well as some unique storage solution projects in the works. We’re seeing a significant increase in demand for 20 foot units based on the ability to haul them into remote locations across Western Canada. We have a project heading out next week that will see over 2000 drums of fuel heading to a remote mine in Northern Canada. We’re excited about the opportunity! We continue to develop key partnerships in strategic locations in order to increase our inventory capabilities and therefore deploy more units on a moments notice.

On the rental and leasing side, we continue to expand our storage abilities in Yellowknife and Edmonton. With more units being setup for monthly and long term rentals at our secure sites, Clients have the flexibility to store goods when required. Our newer units are also outfitted with lock boxes and raised handles for ease of entry which Clients are already commenting positively on. It’s a simple addition that can really make life easier on the end user.

Lastly, we are proud to have finalized a partnership as a title sponsor for an event next winter in Yellowknife. Can’t release all the info yet, but we can say the containers are going to look great!

Modcan is a full service shipping container supply company with offices in Edmonton and Yellowknife while maintaining delivery abilities to most major centers around the world. Founded in 2009,  the Modcan team has leveraged it’s ability to meet the requirements of large oil and gas as well as mining contacts to continue the rapid expansion into providing more diverse and complex container and logistics solutions. Most recently, the company has solidified sites for container storage solutions in both Yellowknife and at the Edmonton Airport. Discussions are ongoing for additional sites to be developed in Alberta, BC, Nunavut and the NWT.

Modcan Solutions continues to focus on new and innovative uses for our steel shipping containers. With roots in the North, our Clients continue to push the team in providing cost effective and reliable container deliveries that are suitable for the harsh conditions the area is known for. The challenge is welcomed and by using key development partnerships in the North,  the future is bright as Modcan is quietly expanding into more commercial and industrial uses outside the standard sea container mould.
